RMB/BER Business Confidence Index 2010Q1
The RMB/BER business confidence index (BCI) improved by 15 index points – from 28 during 2009Q4 to 43 in 2010Q1. This is the single largest quarterly increase since 1994Q4, albeit from a much lower base. The largest improvement was registered in the new vehicle sales sector where confidence improved by 31 points.
