South Africa’s economic prospects have deteriorated since mid-2012. GDP growth in some of our key trading partners worsened in the first half of 2012, and the outlook remains clouded by a number of risks. Domestically, widespread industrial strife during 2012Q3 and the early stages of Q4 has increased the local constraints on the economy.
